(Formerly known as the Leeds Carers Centre) Carers Leeds offers advice, information and support to carers. A carer is someone who looks after another person who is unable to manage due to illness, disability or frailty. Carers Leeds supports people in accessing services and state welfare and disability benefits. It also organises a number of social and educational events.
Carers Friends is a befriending scheme offering one to one help in dealing with the stresses and isolation experienced by carers.
People can contact Carers Leeds by phone, or by calling into the office. An outreach service is also offered for people who would have difficulty in visiting the office. Telephone for a more detailed account of how Carers Leeds might help you.
