The ABA represents burial authority special interests with national and local government, including the Home Office Burial and Cemeteries Advisory Group, the Synod of the Church of England, environment agencies, European Union directives etc. ABA is a not-for-profit organisation.

Helpline for advice on: Burial ground extensions, reuse of graves, grave care and responsibilities, inhumations, exhumations, monuments, maintenance, health and safety. DIY funerals, green burials, rights and responsibilities, disposal and commemoration of cremated remains, vandalism and security, environmental matters, regulations etc.
