Catholic Care aim is to complement the work already being done in school to support young people and remove barriers to learning. A significant number of young people are referred because of issues of loss and bereavement. They respond in a variety of ways including individual counselling, group work plus supporting key adults in school in their direct work with young people.
Catholic Care has experience and expertise in working with a whole school community where there has been a sudden death of a member of staff or pupil and believe they have much to offer in these situations and will always endeavour to make bereavement work a priority.
To be held on Thursday 16th May 2013 at the Leeds Methodist Mission Cafe 12noon - 2.00pm. Come and join us for coffee and cake and discuss the taboo subject of death.
